PATSBER is a Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) spin off company.
The company was registered in 2021 and based at 106, Bangunan Pusat lndustri, Technovation Park UTM, 81310 Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Johor Bahru, Johor.
The operating plan for the OIL2WANG™ is based on 2 technologies which are the UCO collection kiosk and the OIL2WANG™ mobile application.
The process flow of the Oil2Wang™ process is firstly by downloading the OIL2WANG™ mobile apps and create an account.
Creation of account is done via filling the users’ full name, identity card number, phone number, address, and bank account information.
Know Your Customer (KYC) is also required as financial security requirement by a unique QR code for every user.
Users can fully utilize the app and kiosk after KYC is verified.
At the kiosk, user scans the unique QR code displayed at the Oil2Wang™ Kiosk to certify being in vicinity of the kiosk.
By scanning the QR code in the app, the system will recognize that there is a user near the kiosk, hereby authorizing for the magnetic inlet door to be opened.
User gets notification in app to pour the used cooking oil (UCO) into the kiosk via the opened inlet.
The piping from inlet to intermediary tank is fitted with sieve and filter as to make sure only liquid oil enters.
Upon completion of inserting the oil, the user needs to confirm in the application and the inlet will be closed.
The intermediary tank is fitted with level-meter and balance, where the added oil will go through a unique density verification process for UCO, by measuring the weight and volume.
If verified as UCO, the oil will be channelled to the storage tank.
Otherwise, it will be channelled to the waste tank.
If oil is channelled to waste tank, user will receive a failure notification in the app and the use of the kiosk through that account is suspended.
The user will need to contact management to reactivate the account.
On successful use, the user will get a success notification in the app with amount of payment that they will receive in the bank account linked to the app account.
The user can choose either to collect the payment into personal account or donate the money to the charity bodies listed in the apps.
